Poco is all set to launch the Poco C50 in India tomorrow (January 3). The C50 is an entry-level smartphone and will be made available to purchase via Flipkart. The device is essentially a rebranded Redmi A1+ and carries a similar spec sheet.

Now, it has finally appeared on Geekbench, revealing its performance and confirming some key specifications. The listing discloses that the model number for the C50’s India variation is 220733SPI. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6761V SoC, which is essentially the Helio A22 SoC. The peak clock frequency for the entry-level quad-core SoC is 2.0GHz.

POCO

The phone will at least have 3GB of RAM when POCO releases it. It’s anticipated that the phone will provide 32GB and 64GB of storage space. The listing also verifies that Android 12 will be pre-installed on the device when it debuts in India. It might run stock Android or have an MIUI 13 overlay for POCO. The listing also discloses the single-core and multi-core Geekbench scores for the POCO smartphone, which were 140 and 504, respectively.

Poco C50 expected specs

A 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a maximum brightness of 400nits is anticipated for the Poco C50. Similar to the POCO C40, the gadget sports a leather-textured design on the back.

The gadget is powered by an IMG PowerVR GPU and a MediaTek Helio A22 CPU. The device comes pre-installed with Android 12 Go Edition.

The Poco C50’s 5000mAh battery can be charged at 10W. Along with an 8MP back camera, it also has a depth sensor. For taking selfies, it sports a front-facing 5MP camera. The phone has a fingerprint reader on the back. The Poco C40 could also feature a 3.5mm audio jack and a dedicated micro-SD card slot.
