Other than the flagship Galaxy S23 models which are expected to launch in February, Samsung is also working on multiple budget-range and mid-range devices. Two such smartphones dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A14 and the Galaxy M54 5G have appeared on the BIS certification website hinting at an Indian launch.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 has appeared with the model number SM-A145F/DS on BIS. On the other hand, the Galaxy M54 5G has surfaced with model number SM-M546B/DS. Unfortunately, the BIS listings do not reveal any technical aspects of the smartphone. So, let’s take a look at what’s known about these devices.

So far, information surrounding the Galaxy A14 reveals that it will come in two different chipset variants depending on the region. One will be powered by an unannounced Samsung Exynos 1330 chipset, while the other variant will feature an entry-level 5G chipset from MediaTek known as the Dimensity 700.

The device is said to feature a 6.8-inch Full HD+ IPS panel with 90 Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it will have a triple camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera. The front camera on the device will be a 13-megapixel unit. Recent certifications reveal that the Galaxy A14 will feature Bluetooth 5.3, and dual-band WiFi. Lastly, we can expect the smartphone to launch with a 5,000mAh battery and 15W fast charging capabilities.

The Galaxy M54 5G is said to be powered by the upcoming Exynos 1330 mid-range chipset. It is also rumored that the device could appear in some regions sporting the S Snapdragon 888 chipset.

According to rumors and leaks, the Galaxy M54 5G will have a 6.67-inch sAMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout in the center, FHD+ resolution, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is expected to have a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro unit, and a 32MP front-facing selfie camera. The device will reportedly be powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
