2022 was a year of change for Oppo, as the brand stepped up its software game and updated the majority of its devices at an impressive pace. The Chinese OEM is entering the new year with the same enthusiasm and plans to extend the latest ColorOS 13 update to more devices. In that light, Oppo recently shared the ColorOS 13 Global Update Timeline for Q1 2023, revealing the smartphones that will get the new update. Here are the details.

The brand will be releasing the latest Android 13-based update to a sizable number of smartphones in the first quarter of 2023. This includes the Reno 8, Reno 5, Reno 6, and a bunch of other smartphones. Oppo says the timeline is approximate and is subject to change depending on the device, country, and carriers.

Further, the company says the beta version of the software will be released to the eligible smartphone on a batch-by-batch basis and will be limited to certain markets. Now, let’s have a look at the timeline.

As can be seen in the timeline, Oppo will be releasing stable and beta builds of the ColorOS 13 to several smartphones in January. The software will be rolling out in India and Indonesia.
