iQOO is reportedly working on a new U-series phone called the iQOO U6 for the Chinese market.  Recently, an iQOO device with model number V2230EA was seen in the database of the TENAA certification platform. The listing, which previously only revealed the images of the phone, has now been updated with its specifications. Here is a look at what to expect from the device.

iQOO U6 specifications (rumored)

The rumored iQOO U6 will feature a 6.51-inch display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. There is no word on whether the display will support a higher refresh rate than the usual 60Hz.

It is a 5G-ready device that will feature a 2.21GHz octa-core processor. The phone offers 4 GB / 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of internal storage. In all likelihood, the device will come with the Android 13 OS preinstalled.

The entry-level 5G phone from iQOO will have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On its back, it will be fitted with a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. For more storage, it has a microSD card slot.

The U6 will be backed by a 4,910mAh (rated value) battery. The listing states that it is a custom-made device for China Telecom. It will feature an IR blaster, among other connectivity features. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It measures 164.05 x 75.6 x 8.15mm and weighs around 186 grams.

The specs of the alleged iQOO U6 suggest that it could be identical to the Vivo Y35 5G, which debuted in December 2022. Ironically, the Vivo Y35m and Vivo Y35t are also packed with the same specs.
