Oppo is apparently planning to launch a new Reno 8 series smartphone, dubbed Reno 8T, in India as well as the global market. A recent leak revealed a few details about the handset and also shared its renders. Now, a new report suggests the Reno 8T will have 4G and 5G variants, and both will be offered with slightly different specifications. Here are the details.
As per a Phoneev report, Oppo Reno 8T 5G will come with a 6.67-inch OLED 10-bit display that produces a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Fueled by a 4800mAh battery, it will support 67W wired fast charging.

For photography, it will feature a triple camera unit on the rear, headlined by 108MP main camera. The primary sensor will be accompanied by a pair of 2MP sensors. On the software front, the device will run Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top.
In addition, the Oppo Reno 8T 4G is reported to pack a Mediatek Helio G99 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The SoC will be paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is said to support only 33W charging. It may run Android 13 as well.
Further, the report suggests the 4G model will flaunt a faux leather back, which was also seen on the Oppo Reno 7. The 5G handset, on the contrary, will come with the same design as the Oppo A1 Pro 5G & Realme 10 Pro+ 5G.
The launch date of Oppo Reno 8T is yet to be known. However, the report says the smartphone will debut in the global market by the end of this month and will arrive in India next month. It may launch in the Indian market as Oppo F23.
