Samsung is preparing for multiple launches in the coming days. The Galaxy S23 flagship series is said to debut on February 1 while the Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G will launch on January 18th in the Indian market.
Another device, dubbed Galaxy A24 4G is also in the pipeline and is expected to launch globally along with other A-series devices like the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 on January 18th. The Galaxy A24 4G has now appeared on BIS certification, hinting that it might launch soon in India as well.
The Samsung Galaxy A24 4G has appeared on the BIS certification database bearing the model number SM-A245F. Regarding specifications, nothing is disclosed in the listing. However, the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G has already had some of its major specifications leaked online.
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy A24 will have a 6.24-inch sAMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution. It will provide a refresh rate of 90Hz. Recall that the smartphone’s predecessor had an LCD display. It is still unknown if the Samsung will use a punch-hole cutout display or a waterdrop notch.
According to the rumor, the Exynos 7904 processor, which is almost four years old, will likely power the Galaxy A24. It will include 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM, but we can expect more choices when it launches. It is anticipated that the smartphone would be powered by a 4,000mAh battery pack with 15W charging capabilities. The hardware seems to be quite a downgrade compared to the Galaxy A23.
The Galaxy A24 is rumored to include three cameras on the back, including a 48MP primary sensor with OIS capability, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP third shooter. A 16MP front-facing selfie camera will be included.
