Xiaomi has launched its Smart Camera C200 with a raft of decent features in Germany. The Xiaomi Smart Camera C200 can rotate 360 degrees horizontally and 106 degrees vertically. It has a 1080p camera that can capture, record, and live-stream videos. You can view video activity using the Xiaomi Home app or using a connected display device.

The Xiaomi Smart Camera C200 supports Amazon Alexa and Google Home systems functionality. The device’s full HD 2MP camera with WDR support gives a full view of your environment. The camera can operate easily at night using its 940nm infrared light. The infrared light itself does not visibly glow, thus providing stealth functionality. In addition, AI human detection is featured in the Xiaomi Smart Camera C200. It enables the gadget to track and record human presence automatically.

The camera can be placed securely in a variety of scenarios. It can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall or the ceiling. It can operate within temperature ranges of -10ºC and 40ºC. The device is not waterproof and could be easily damaged when in contact with water.
Xiaomi says that H.265 video encoding technology in the C200 helps to compress the file size of videos by up to 50%. You can view a live feed of the camera using the Xiaomi Home app or view previously recorded videos using the Mi Smart Clock. Its built-in microphone makes two-way calling possible. The smart camera can also be integrated into the Google Home and Alexa systems.

The Xiaomi Smart Camera C200 is now available in Germany for €39.99 (~$43). The gadget could subsequently arrive in several other markets like the UK and the rest of Europe.
