Samsung’s Columbia division accidentally shared a poster on Twitter, revealing the launch date of the upcoming Galaxy S23 series. The lineup, which could include the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, is expected to be unveiled on February 1. Now, ahead of a formal announcement, the video teasers of the S23 have surfaced online.
This time the China division of the brand has shared a couple of video teasers of the upcoming flagships. As can be seen in the Ice Universe’s tweet embedded below, the teaser says “megapixels that’ll make you say wooow”. It’s likely for the higher-end Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is expected to arrive with a 200MP camera. The three O’s in Wow are a representation of the camera lenses.
Another teaser talks about better nighttime photography. Says that “stunning night photos are coming soon.” These are all the details we could get from the leaked videos. Specifications of the new lineup are already out.
All three phones in the S23 series will likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. They all will have a 12MP selfie camera and come pre-installed with Android 13 and a layer of One UI 5.0 on top.
The spotlight will be on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is rumored to pack a better display and camera setup. It is said to have a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a QHD+ resolution, and a 2200-nits peak brightness.
There will likely be a quad camera setup with a 200MP primary camera accompanied by two 10MP telephoto cameras and a 12MP ultrawide unit. It will be powered by a large 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
