Vivo is reportedly working on the global launch of the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro, which feature the Dimensity 9200 chipset. Rumors are rife that the Vivo X90 Pro+, which debuted as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone in November 2022 in China, will not release in the global market. A new report by Pricebaba has tipped the global launch date of the Vivo X90 series.

According to the publication, the Vivo X90 lineup will be up for pre-orders between Jan. 27 and Feb. 2. As the leaked poster reveals, the X90 series will be announced globally on Feb. 3.

According to another report, the X90 and X90 Pro will be available in Malaysia in a single 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage configuration.In the country, the X90 may be available in colours such as Asteroid Black and Breeze Blue.The Pro model, on the other hand, could only be found in legendary black. The leak also reveals that the X90 will cost MYR 3,699 (~$846), whereas the X90 Pro will be priced at MYR 5,299 (~$1,212).

Vivo X90, X90 Pro specifications

The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro have a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen with a centred punch-hole. It offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1300 nits of brightness. The display is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The X90 series runs on the FunTouch OS 13-based Android 13 OS.

The Dimensity 9200-powered X90 and X90 Pro will offer LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The vanilla model has a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It has a 50-megapixel (main) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit for photography. The X90 Pro, on the other hand, is backed by a 4,870mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It features a 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera setup. Both phones have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
