At the beginning of the month, Xiaomi released the Mijia LCD Small Blackboard Color Edition for crowdfunding. Now, the slate is officially on sale in China with a starting price of 69 Yuan. This price tag is 10 yuan more expensive than the crowdfunding price.
The slate can produce numerous colors, as its name implies, and this is made possible by a specially designed color liquid crystal panel. There are two sizes of the Blackboard: 10 inches and 13 inches.
It enables pressure writing, with the handwriting’s thickness varying as pressure is applied. The blackboard can be quickly cleared using the sensing area that is located above the screen. Handwriting is displayed on the screen using natural light reflection since it lacks a backlight.
The screen is blue-light-free, according to the manufacturer, so it can be used for lengthy periods of time by children and adults of all ages. Additionally, the board only uses energy when the information on it is being wiped.
