Last June, Samsung introduced a new first-party smartphone app called Samsung Wallet. This application unifies Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass into a single app with some additional features.
It was made available in 21 countries in 2022. Now, with the start of the new year, the company has made an announcement regarding extending the availability of the application to 8 new markets.
In an official press release, Samsung notes that the Samsung Wallet app will be available in the following 8 countries starting at the end of January.

- Canada
- Hong Kong
- India
- Malaysia
- Singapore
- Taiwan
Apart from the aforementioned regions, the Samsung Wallet application is already available in the following 21 markets.
- Bahrain
- China
- Denmark
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Taly
- Kazakhstan
- Korea
- Kuwait
- Norway
- Oman
- Qatar
- South Africa
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- Vietnam
- UAE
- UK
- USA
Therefore, the app will be soon available in 29 regions in the coming days.
The new Samsung Wallet application can do much more. It allows users to store credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, loyalty cards, vaccine certifications, membership cards, loyalty cards, boarding passes, and ID cards. Users can also store passwords, NFT collections, and digital keys for cars.
Anyway, it is worth noting that not all features are available in all the markets. At the same time, Samsung is promising more features down the line.
