Xiaomi is picking up the pace with its MIUI 14 update program. Recently, the brand has been releasing both stable and beta builds of its new software to a number of smartphones in China. In fact, the company updated some devices in the global market as well. The latest devices to receive the Android 13-based update are Redmi Note 10 Pro, Note 11T Pro Plus, Redmi K40S, and Redmi K50G.

All these devices are receiving the MIUI 14 update in China. The update brings all the new features Google introduced with the latest version of Android as well as some Xiaomi-exclusive goodies. The rollout is in grayscale, meaning the new software is being released in multiple batches, and each batch has a limited number of users.

To remind you, Xiaomi’s latest firmware, MIUI 14, boasts a sleek design and is said to be the most lightweight version yet. It features a refined system architecture and the new Photon Engine, which promises faster app loading times.

In addition to improved performance, MIUI 14 also brings a number of visual changes. Users can now customize folders with larger icons and choose from a variety of widgets in different shapes and sizes. New features such as automatic compression for infrequently used apps, the ability to turn off persistent notifications, and home screen pets have also been added.

In related news, a recent report revealed that Xiaomi will also be updating the Redmi Note 9 series and the Poco M2 series with MIUI 14. Given that most models in these lineups have already received two MIUI updates and two Android updates, it is likely that MIUI 14 will be the final OS update for these devices.
