Pricing and marketing details of the Redmi Smart Band 2 have surfaced ahead of its launch in Europe. The lightweight smart band was released in China in December 2022 and the new details reportedly emanated from the manufacturer.

The Redmi Smart Band 2 was unveiled together with the Redmi Watch 3 in China by Xiaomi last month. It was then rumored to enter the European market subsequently. The new Xiaomi smart band, according to the official leaks, will be priced in Europe at €34.99 (~$38). It is unclear whether the leaked price relates to the launch period or it is the regular pricing of the gadget. The details also indicate that the launch of the Smart Band 2 is imminent in Europe.

The smart band retailed for the equivalent of $25 when it was launched in China. The pricing indicates that the Smart Band 2 is pretty affordable with several decent features to boot. It has a 1.47-inch TFT display and weighs 14.9g. The Redmi Smart Band 2 is 9.99mm thick and offers health and fitness monitoring. These include SpO2, sleep, and heart rate monitoring. There are over 100 Band faces and up to 30 sports modes. The band has a 14-day battery life and 5ATM water resistance.

The Redmi Smart Band 2 is less expensive than the Redmi Watch 3, which is also expected to launch in Europe. As per the launch date for the Smart Band 2, there is no official Xiaomi statement yet. The rumor mills will remain buzzing until the finer optics of the European launch of the smart band are released. It is also expected that the lightweight and affordable smart band could debut in other markets outside China and Europe.
