Startup brand Nothing is reported to launch new products this year. The Carl Pei-lead company will likely be introducing the popular Nothing Phone (1)’s sequel and this time the handset may also make it to the US market. Nothing is also said to be working on the next-gen Ear (2) TWS earbuds and today a new report reveals its design and a few features. Here are the details.

Nothing Ear (2) featured

OnLeaks, in collaboration with SmartPrix, has shared the design renders of the upcoming Nothing Ear (2). The images suggest Nothing will mostly be sticking to the same formula with a few changes here and there. Both the earbuds as well as the charging case feature a transparent design. The only change we could notice is in the placement of the noise-canceling microphone. It was previously on the top of the buds but now has been placed at the stem.

While the design remains the same, Nothing Ear (2) may bring some new features. The earbuds are reported to come with a new personalized ANC mode that will allow users to customize the level of noise cancellation according to their comfort. The original buds already have Light and Maximum modes. Ear (2) will also have a transparency mode to let you hear the background noise.

Further, the earbuds are said to offer dual connectivity, allowing the earbuds to connect to two devices at the same time and seamlessly switch between them. Nothing may also add support for Advanced EQ with custom settings and the Find Earbuds feature. Other details about the earbuds are still anyone’s guess. There’s no official confirmation from the brand yet, so take the above info with a pinch of salt.
