The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G is gradually heading towards its launch. It was spotted in the databases of BIS, Bluetooth SIG, and Geekbench in the last quarter of 2022. Earlier this month, it was approved by the FCC authority. Now, TheTechOutlook has published the leaked press renders of the device to give a first look at its design and color variants.
As can be seen, the Galaxy M14 5G will arrive in three colors: dark blue, blue, and silver. The device has a modest design, as it has a waterdrop notch display with a thick chin on the front and a triple camera unit with LED flash on the back. The device looks identical to the Galaxy A14 5G, which debuted in the global market as well as in India recently.
The Bluetooth SIG listing revealed that model numbers SM-M146B/DS, SM-E14B/DS, and SM-M146B/DSN are all associated with the Galaxy M14 5G. The Bluetooth certification revealed that the device will support Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
It was found through the Geekbench listing of the Galaxy M14 5G that it will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1330 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The device is expected to arrive with Android 13 OS and One UI 5.0 preinstalled. As per the FCC certification of the M14 5G, it will support 25W fast charging.
It seems that the Galaxy M14 5G could be a rebranded or tweaked version of the Galaxy A14 5G. The A14 has a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen that produces a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Exynos 1330-powered device has up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the front and a 50-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging.
