Samsung has recently announced its 2023 flagship Galaxy S23 lineup in the market. The series includes three different devices, the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The top of the model brings several improvements such as an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset and further improved cameras. The smartphones are already available for pre-order, and they will start shipping to buyers on February 17. Now, an official statement released by the brand confirms that the Galaxy S23 units for India will be manufactured locally and will not be imported.

The Noida plant of Samsung India is where all Galaxy S23, S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra phones sold in India are produced. It is one of Samsung’s largest smartphone production plants worldwide, and the corporation uses the local factory to meet the majority of India’s domestic demand. With the goal of making India the centre of the world’s smartphone manufacturing, Samsung opened a facility there in 2018. Narendra Modi, the Indian prime minister, inaugurated the facility. In Bengaluru’s renowned Opera House, Samsung boasts its largest Mobile Experience Center in the world.
