Tecno has been consistently launching new phones in India. The brand has so far launched the Phantom X2, the Phantom X2 Pro, and the Spark Go 2023 in the country. Now, it is gearing up to launch its next phone. GizmoChina has learned through industry sources that the Tecno Pop 7 Pro will debut this month.
The Tecno Pop 7 Pro has already launched in African markets, and now it is making its way to India. In Africa, the phone is available in black, blue, and purple colors. In India, it will arrive in two colors. One of them is blue, and here are its renders. There is no clarity on whether the color variant for India will be black or purple.
The Tecno Spark Go 2023 and the Pop 7 Pro have identical specs. The Spark variant offers 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It is likely that the Pop 7 Pro may offer different RAM and storage capacities.
Tecno Pop 7 Pro specifications
The Tecno Pop 7 Pro has a 6.56-inch LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It offers an HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Helio A22 chipset, 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports charging via the USB-C port. The device runs on the HiOS 12-based Android 12 OS.
The Pop 7 Pro has a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash on the front. On the back, it has a 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash. For security, it has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The handset offers 64 GB of storage and a microSD slot for additional storage.
The Tecno Pop 6 Pro was priced at Rs 7,999 when it launched in September 2022 in India. It is likely that the successor model may have a similar price.
