Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date for its latest flagship smartphone model, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, for the Indian market. The company will officially be announcing the high end device later this month. So here are all the details.
For those unaware, the Chinese tech giant first unveiled the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro back in December 2022. However, the brand has yet to announce the launch of the device for the Indian market. But now, the company has revealed that its top end flagship model will be launched on 26th February 2023. Unfortunately, the company only revealed that launch date for the higher end Pro variant. So, it is still unclear if the base Xiaomi 13 will be making its way to region, especially considering the fact that the company skipped the base Xiaomi 12 model last year as well.
This announcement also confirms that the Xiaomi 13 Pro will finally be releasing in the global market. The Xiaomi 13 series global launch should be around the same time or follow soon after the India announcement. The launch event is set for 9:30 PM IST on 26th February 2023 and will be live streamed on the company’s official website, Facebook, YouTube, and even Twitter.
Talking about the smartphone itself, it sports a tall 6.78 inch 2K Samsung E6 AMOLED LTPO display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and supports Dolby Vision. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC powers the device with up to 12GB of RAM. The rear features a 50 megapixel triple camera setup. Under the hood, a 4,820mAh battery pack runs the device with support for 120W fast charging.
