After the success of the Pixel 7 series, Google could launch the Pixel 7a very soon. Going by the rumors, the search giant could make a lot of customers happy as the Pixel 7a doesn’t appear to compromise on specs as much as the previous generation did.

Even the phone’s design is said to be quite similar to the Pixel 7, with the only notable difference being thicker bezels around the display. A recent TPU case leak also confirms the design revealed by previous renders.

The leaked images come from /Leaks revealing the design of the Pixel 7a. The camera placement is similar to the Pixel 7, however, the camera visor is comparatively thinner. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge, while the bottom of the device features a speaker grille and USB Type-C port.

According to a recent report, the Pixel 7a will come with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS storage. We’ll get a fast 90Hz FHD+ OLED display, likely capable of HDR10+. The latest Tensor G2 chipset is also said to be onboard the device.

It has been reported that the rear of the Pixel 7a will feature a dual camera setup, consisting of a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main camera and a Sony IMX712 ultra-wide lens. No details are available regarding the battery capacity, but it is rumored to include wireless charging capabilities.

With these features on board, the upcoming device could be quite compelling in the mid-range segment. It remains to be seen if the brand sticks to the ~$500 mark or makes any changes to the pricing.
