Realme has announced the launch date of the GT 3 smartphone in the global markets. It is set to debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) on February 28th at 4 pm UTC. The brand announced the launch date on its global Twitter handle. Realme’s India branch also made the announcement and in the country, the event will begin at 8:30 pm. However, it remains to be seen which countries the GT 3 will be available in at the time of the launch. The launch event will be live-streamed on Realme’s official YouTube channel or you can check it here

Realme has also shared a separate teaser video of the GT 3 that reveals some details. It is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and feature 240W fast charging. The latter will make GT 3 the fastest-charging smartphone in the global market. The device has a dual-tone back panel with the top portion having an elongated island much like the iQOO 10 Pro and POCO X5 series. The left side accommodates a protruding rectangular camera module whereas to its right there is a transparent window surrounded by Halo LED lighting. The upcoming offering seems to be rebranded variant of the Realme GT Neo 5 that debuted in China last week.

The Realme GT 3 will arrive as the successor to the GT 2 which also debuted globally at MWC last year. The brand is teasing the upcoming offering as #SpeedtotheMax

Since the Realme GT 3 is expected to be rebranded version of the GT Neo 5 in China, we can expect it to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display bearing a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. The device is backed by a 4,600mAh battery unit.
