Google is trying to provide Wear OS-based smartwatches with delightful dynamic colour customizations, according to new code discovered in the Android 14 codebase. 9To5Google has discovered a new string inside Android 14’s settings for smartwatches named “DYNAMIC COLOR THEME ENABLED.” Android 11 serves as the foundation of Wear OS 3, which is now used by the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series. Since Material You debuted with Android 12, Wear OS 3 has never received it.

Google may directly switch to Android 14 with the upcoming major release of Wear OS.
