The Realme GT 3 launch is just around the corner for the global market. But prior to its official announcement, there have already been a number of teasers regarding this phone. Now, the latest one talks about its most highlighting aspect, the 240W fast charging tech.

As per a new tweet from Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth, “Our 240W fast charging technology is about to disrupt the industry. Get ready to experience.” He also shared an image in this tweet that compared the device to the fastest charging rates offered to by other brands. This graph was compiled by a Counterpoint Research report that had stated that the Chinese smartphone maker is keeping to its motto of “Dare to leap” with the GT 3 model.

The brand had recently shared a video teaser in which it showcased the device being fast charged. In the video, we can see the 4,600mAh battery pack on this device get charged from 1 to 20 percent in just 80 seconds, 50 percent in just 4 minutes, and a full charge in 9 minutes and 30 seconds. This is quite impressive to say the least. The Counterpoint Research also found that Realme is the only brand that offers 65W fast charging rate on smartphone under the 150 US Dollar price mark.

Madhav Sheth also added that “realme has always been at the forefront of bringing out of the box innovations and leap forward technology to the users. With the 240W fast charging smartphone, realme proves that we can do more than that by being top player in industry in terms of fast-charging technology and penetration rate in all segments.”
