The ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 has seen a raft of innovative products being unveiled. Today, AGM Mobile has launched its AGM G2 Guardian smartphone with a long-range and powerful thermal camera. The AGM G2 Guardian has an effective range of 500 meters.
The AGM G2 Guardian is a 5G-enabled rugged smartphone that is well-primed for search and rescue operations in difficult conditions. Its long-range thermal camera is among several premium features like a 120Hz display, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and up to 12GB of RAM. The G2 Guardian joins a growing list of AGM offerings with unusual features. It is however the
company’s most ambitious smartphone ever.
AGM Mobile showcases the G2 Guardian as well-suited for the most demanding of professionals. It can be a solid accessory for hunting, surveying, and even for a rescue mission. Its innovative new imaging specs are industry-leading in several respects. The AGM G2 Guardian has a 6.58-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection. It
is powered by the Qualcomm QCM6490 chipset with a Kryo 670 CPU. AGM says the hexagon processor is an industrial-grade processor to meet optimal industrial applications in the smartphone.
The QCM6490 SoC starts at 8GB of RAM but can get up to 16GB of RAM. AGM Mobile has not provided any pricing or release information for the G2 Guardian smartphone yet. We expect the monster and rugged smartphone to come with premium pricing.
