After the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series in China and global markets, the brand still has some mid-range and budget-range launches in the pipeline. One such device is the Redmi 12C which has already appeared in a review video revealing almost all of its details.

This device has now visited the EEC certification website all but confirming the future availability of this phone in the Russian market. The device carries the model number 22120RN86G.

On the front, the Redmi 12C features a waterdrop notch design. The back of the device is equipped with a dual camera setup, along with an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner for added security. At the bottom, users will find a microphone, a micro USB port, and a speaker grille. The left side of the phone has a SIM slot, while the right side features a volume rocker and power key for easy access to the device’s features.

Spec-wise, the smartphone is said to come with a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ (720 x 1650 pixels) resolution, 500 nits brightness, and a 20.6:9 Aspect ratio. It is rumored to feature a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset under the hood paired with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. Leaks so far have suggested that the phone will be available in 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 3 GB RAM + 64 GB, and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage models.

The Redmi 12C is rumored to feature a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It’s expected to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The phone is anticipated to have a starting price of EUR 149, with the top configuration costing up to EUR 199.
