Lava is the only Indian smartphone brand that is consistent in releasing new products. Following the launch of the Lava Agni 5G in late 2021, the company is now gearing up to release its successor.

A few days back, a leak revealed almost all the important details of this upcoming device, which is said to be called Lava Agni 2 5G. Now, this phone seems to have made its appearance on a benchmarking platform.

According to Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), a new Lava smartphone with model number LXX504 has arrived on Geekbench. He says that this device is likely the forthcoming Lava Agni 2 5G.

As per the listing, the handset will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset paired with 8GB RAM. Further, it will boot Android 13.

The chip detail matches the earlier leak. However, this is the first time we are hearing about the software, and thankfully, the phone will ship with the latest version of Android.

Talking about other specs, the Agni 2 5G is tipped to sport a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with a 50MP primary camera, which may have support for OIS. For selfies and video calls, it will use a 16MP snapper.

The handset will offer a MicroSD card slot and a side-facing fingerprint sensor. Last but not least, it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery and carry support for 44W charging.

The Lava Agni 2 5G is expected to launch in April for about ₹20,000-₹25,000.
