As for the build, the device will feature a polycarbonate back with flat sides, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 90Hz FHD+ LCD display with a centre punch-hole cutout at the front, as revealed earlier in a leaked unboxing video. The Realme C55 will run a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC under the hood and there is a USB-C port for charging and support for USB 2.0 data transfer at the bottom with a 3.5mm audio jack and speaker grille.

On the front, there will be an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. It is expected that the smartphone will run on Realme’s latest Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.

If you missed the news last month, the Realme C55’s design recently went viral on social media, due to the Android device sharing a glaring resemblance to the Apple iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island feature baked into its software despite sporting a punch-hole cutout in the centre.
