Philips has unveiled a new line of OLED monitors in the Chinese market. The EVNIA series 34M2C8600 monitors feature a 34-inch QD OLED panel with 1800R curvature. The panel offers a display resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, 175Hz refresh rate, 0.1ms grayscale response time, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

The Philips EVNIA series 34-inch monitors have a native 10-bit color depth, a contrast ratio of `1 million: 1, and 99.3% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The monitor has DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and full-featured USB-C ports for connections. The USB-C interface can deliver 90W reverse power charging for devices. The massive 90W reverse power available from the monitor means that you can quickly charge an array of devices while working. The connectivity options also mean that you can connect a variety of input devices and enjoy crisp and smooth video output.

The new Philips OLED monitor offers a two-speaker system both with 5W outputs. It offers surround–type ambient lighting for an enhanced experience. The curved screen of the monitor gives it an aesthetic appeal and its other decent features are also a plus.

Philips EVNIA 34M2C8600 Monitors

The Philips EVNIA series OLED monitors are now on sale in China starting at 7,999 yuan (~$1,151). There are no indications yet on the global availability and pricing of the new Philips monitors. However, we expect the product to subsequently launch in selected overseas markets.
