Moreover, an image accompanying the listing showcases a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the front camera, contradicting previous leaks that suggested the phone would have a water-drop notch for the front camera. With these exciting new features, the Redmi A2 promises to be an affordable option for smartphone users seeking quality specifications.

Going by previous leaks, the Redmi A2 is expected to sport a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen, with an anticipated HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The absence of a rear fingerprint scanner suggests it may only be available on the A2+ model. Instead, the A2 will feature an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear, along with a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The Redmi A2 is also expected to have a robust 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging in Europe. It will feature a single speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack, and come with the latest Android 13 (Go Edition) update pre-installed. The device will offer a dual-SIM slot, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4GHz WiFi for connectivity.
