Corsair has announced the release of its XENEON 27QHD240, a gaming monitor that boasts an MLA OLED panel sourced from LG Display, making it one of the first of its kind. The monitor delivers a native output of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, with an impressive 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response times. To reduce image tearing, it comes equipped with both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC.
The XENEON 27QHD240 also features DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C ports, along with a USB hub that includes four USB Type-A ports and an additional USB Type-C connection. The monitor is easily adjustable, with a stand that can be rotated to a vertical orientation when needed.
LG Display’s MLA OLED panels offer a host of benefits over previous models, including higher peak brightness, wider viewing angles, a lower risk of burn-in, and a fifth less power consumption. The XENEON 27QHD240 is expected to reach a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, although the SDR value remains unknown at this time.
The XENEON 27QHD240 will be available for purchase in May, although Corsair has yet to reveal pricing information. For now, interested parties can find more information on the monitor’s German and French websites.
