Redmi Note 12 Turbo launching on March 28 will be performance-driven since it will come equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset. Each day, the brand is rolling out new teasers to confirm the key features of the phone. The poster below, released by Redmi today, reveals some information about the primary camera of the phone.

The poster confirms that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera. It will be coupled with features like optical image stabilization (OIS) and the Xiaomi Imaging Engine 2.0. There is no official confirmation on the auxiliary cameras of the device.

According to some reports, the 64-megapixel camera will also have a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the front, the device may feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Other reports have revealed that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz display with an under-screen fingerprint scanner. The Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2-powered device will come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It will be equipped with a 3725mm² vapor chamber cooling unit for heat dissipation.

The Note 12 Turbo will run on MIUI 14-based Android 13. It will offer other features like dual SIM, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, an X-axis linear motor, and a USB-C port. It has a thickness of 7.9mm and weighs 181 grams. At present, there is no information available on the price of the device. The smartphone is now up for reservation in the Chinese market. Rumors have it that the Note 12 Turbo will be rebranded as the Poco F5 in the global market.
