iQOO Z7 5G debuted in India last month as the first Z7-series phone in the Indian market. One of its major rivals is the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, which debuted earlier this week in the country. While the iQOO Z7 5G starts at Rs 18,999, the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is priced at Rs 19,999 for its base model. Here is a comparison between the two phones based on their specifications.

Display and Build
Right off the bat, the iQOO Z7 5G offers a superior 6.38-inch AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The Nord CE 3 Lite has a 6.72-inch LCD FHD+ display with support for a higher 120Hz refresh rate. While the iQOO phone has a smaller display, many buyers may prefer purchasing it considering that is equipped with a superior AMOLED panel that promises better color reproduction and viewing experience under bright sunlight. The OnePlus phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which some users may prefer over an under-display fingerprint sensor.
The iQOO Z7 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite both have polycarbonate rear shells. While the iQOO phone features Schott Xensation UP protection for the screen, the Nord CE 3 Lite comes with Gorilla Glass protection (exact generation not known). Performance
iQOO phones are built for offering an enhanced gaming experience. The Dimensity 920 chip that powers the Z7 promises good gaming and multi-tasking experience since it scores around 485K+ on AnTuTu, whereas the Snapdragon 695 that powers the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite usually scores around 415K+. Both phones have LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Users who prefer gaming will benefit from iQOO Z7’s support for 360Hz touch sampling rate against 240Hz TSR available on Nord CE 3 Lite. Other gaming-focused features that are available on the Z7 are Ultra Game Mode, 4D vibration motor, and motion control. Apart from Game Mode, there is no special gaming features on the Nord CE 3 Lite.
The Nord CE 3 Lite packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, whereas the iQOO Z7 features a smaller 4,500mAh battery with 44W charging. Both phones come with Android 13 OS and FunTouch (iQOO) / OxygenOS (OnePlus). Both devices will receive two years of Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
Camera
The iQOO Z7 and OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G have a 16-megapixel camera on the front. The Z7’s rear camera setup has a 64-megapixel Samsung GW3 with and a 2-megapixel macro camera, whereas the Nord CE 3 Lite has a 108-megapixel (Samsung HM6, main) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera system. In the camera department, the Z7 has an upper edge as it comes with some additional features like OIS and 30fps 4K video recording (because of D920 chip), which are not available on the Nord CE 3 Lite.
Price and Availability
The iQOO Z7 5G is already available for purchase, whereas the Nord CE 3 Lite is set to go on sale on April 11. The 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants of both phones are priced at Rs 18,999. The Z7 also comes in 6GB+128GB, which is priced at Rs 18,999. On the other hand, the Nord CE 3 Lite also comes in 8GB+256GB, which is priced at Rs 21,999. Both phones can be bought through Amazon India.
