Google is gearing up for the launch of its next mid-range smartphone called the Pixel 7a. The smartphone is expected to debut on May 10, which is the day the brand will be holding its yearly Google I/O event. Ahead of the launch, almost everything regearing the device has already leaked. And now, we have some spy shots of the marketing material putting the stamp of confirmation on the details.

Google Pixel 7a will have wireless charging

The report comes from MySmartPrice citing an unnamed source confirming the hardware features of the device. According to report, the Google Pixel 7a will feature a visor-like camera module on the back, with a dual-camera setup consisting of a 64MP main camera sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, accompanied by an LED flash. The leaked marketing content suggests that the 64MP camera will offer the best photo quality ever seen on an A-series Pixel. It is also rumored that the Pixel 7a will come equipped with a Sony IMX787 main camera sensor.

Under the hood, the Pixel 7a will feature the Tensor G2 SoC and Titan M2 security chip. It is also rumored that the phone will support wireless charging, a first for any Google A series device, with 5W wireless charging support.

The device is said to have an all-day battery life, with up to 72 hours of battery life in Extreme Battery Saver mode. The screen is expected to be a 6.1-inch OLED panel with adaptive refresh rate support, capable of switching between 60Hz and 90Hz refresh rates depending on the on-screen content. The phone is rumored to come in three colors: Light Blue, Grey, and Silver.
