Lava Agni 2 5G is expected to launch soon in India. The brand has been officially teasing its arrival for the last few days.

Now, an Indian media house reveals a few more details that were not known earlier.

According to India Today, the upcoming Lava Agni 2 5G will sport a circular camera island, which goes in line with the recent live image leak of the phone. There will be four cameras headed by a 50MP primary sensor.

The device is said to feature a glass panel on the rear. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, which the brand had officially confirmed. The report goes on to say that the Lava Agni 2 5G will be the first smartphone with the said chip in India.

We already know that the phone will be built around a 120Hz AMOLED display. The report further discloses that the screen will be curved on the edges.

Previous leaks claimed that the handset will be priced below ₹25,000. Interestingly, this report says that it will cost around ₹20,000.

Finally, the Lava Agni 2 5G is said to go official in mid-May. Going by the aforementioned details, the successor of Lava Agni 5G will compete against products from Chinese OEMs, especially the Redmi Note 12 Pro series, in terms of specs as well as price.
