Mobvoi had been developing a new smartwatch named TicWatch Pro 5, which was leaked earlier this year disclosing its significant features and specifications. Recently, the company hinted at the official launch of the smartwatch.
The official teaser poster doesn’t mention the name of the smartwatch, but the design reveals its identity as the TicWatch Pro 5. The smartwatch is expected to come with the latest Qualcomm chipset, up-to-date support for Wear OS, and a physical crown featuring a red accent, all packed in a premium, sleek casing.
In anticipation of the upcoming launch of the TicWatch Pro 5, Mobvoi has announced a promotional campaign that offers consumers the chance to win a free flagship smartwatch each day. The promotion requires engagement on both Twitter and Instagram and runs until May 23, 2023. This announcement has raised expectations that the TicWatch Pro 5 will debut around the same time.

The TicWatch Pro 5 will come equipped with the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset, which is expected to deliver improved performance and longer battery life. It will also come with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, providing ample space for apps, music, and other data.
The smartwatch features Mobvoi’s dual-layer display technology, which is slightly larger than its predecessor at 1.43 inches, while the casing remains compact at 50mm and lightweight at 44g. This smartwatch offers an impressive battery life of up to 80 hours, or 45 days in ‘Essential Mode,’ which extends battery life by limiting the device’s functionality.
The TicWatch Pro 5 also includes several new features, such as a built-in compass, multi-band GPS, and a barometer, making it perfect for outdoor activities. Additionally, it offers heart rate backlights, smart training recovery time, and VO2 Max, all of which help users keep track of their fitness goals. Furthermore, the TicWatch Pro 5 runs on WearOS 3, an operating system designed specifically for wearables, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
