Vivo is expected to soon unveil the Vivo S17 series of smartphones in China. The company has already launched the Vivo S17e and now it seems to be working on the launch of the Vivo S17 and S17 Pro. In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station seems to have revealed the key specifications of the Vivo S17 and S17 Pro.
The above chart shared by the tipster mentions the key specifications of the Xiaomi Civi 3 in the first column. It is followed by the Oppo Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro’s key specs. In the last two columns, DCS has seemingly revealed details on the chipset, cameras, battery, and fast charging capabilities of the Vivo S17 and S17 Pro.
As per the leak, the Vivo S17 is rumored to be equipped with the Snapdragon 782G processor. When it comes to photography, the device is speculated to boast an autofocus-enabled 50-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS on the back. To keep the device powered throughout the day, the S17 is said to pack a 4,500mAh battery, supported by 66W charging technology for quick recharging.
The S17 Pro is likely to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. In terms of photography, this device may come with a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus. On the rear, it may house a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS. To ensure long-lasting battery life, the Vivo S17 Pro is expected to feature a 4,500mAh battery, complemented by 80W charging technology for fast and convenient charging.
It is speculated that the Vivo S17 series will be unveiled on May 30. Hence, it appears that official confirmation of the launch date will surface in the next few days.
