Vivo has silently announced the Vivo Y78 5G in Singapore. The device is now listed on Vivo Singapore’s website with all its specifications. However, the company is yet to confirm the price and availability of the device. The official listing reveals that the Y78 5G that has landed in Singapore is different from the Dimensity 7020-powered Vivo Y78 5G, which is available in China. In fact, it is a tweaked version of the Vivo Y78+ 5G, which is also available in the home market.

The Vivo Y78 5G has an impressive 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 1,300 nits of brightness. The device has a thickness of 7.89mm and weighs 177 grams.

The Y78 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 and 8 GB of RAM. It has 8 GB of virtual RAM, 256 GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. It runs on FunTouch OS 13-based Android 13.

On the front, the Y78 5G has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear panel has a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It comes with other features, such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, a fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack.

There is no word on the price of the Vivo Y78 5G. It will be available in colors, such as Flare Black and Dreamy Gold. In China, the Y78+ 5G also comes in Azure (blue) shade. Its variants are in China, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage are priced at 1,599 Yuan (~$226), 1,799 Yuan (~$254), and 1,999 Yuan (~$283), respectively.
