Boasting its 55-inch display with an impressive 8K resolution, this monitor delivers a stunning visual experience. The flat IPS panel ensures vibrant colors and sharp imagery, resolving at an impressive 7,680 x 4,320 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

In terms of performance, the PG558KF offers a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 1,200:1 contrast ratio with 252 local dimming zones. While these specifications may seem modest compared to some high-end gaming monitors, it’s worth noting that achieving 8K gaming at a higher refresh rate is currently beyond the capabilities of most modern graphics cards. Moreover, the monitor carries the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, capable of reaching a peak brightness of 1,000 nits when viewing HDR content. ASRock specifies a typical maximum brightness of 750 nits.

Connectivity options on the PG558KF are abundant, with two DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports each. It also features a USB hub equipped with four USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A downstream ports, along with a USB Type-C upstream port supporting 90 W charging through the USB PD 3.0 protocol.

While pricing and availability details for the PG558KF remain undisclosed at this time, it is expected that ASRock will provide further information later in the year.
