Paired with AMD Radeon Navi3 Graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a spacious 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, the ROG Ally delivers strong performance for gaming and multitasking.

Running on Windows 11 out of the box, the console provides access to a wide range of games from platforms like Steam, EA apps, Epic Games, and Xbox Game Pass. It even comes with a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. To enhance the gaming experience, the ROG Ally features a dual speaker setup with Asus’ Smart Amplifier Technology.

In terms of connectivity, the console offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C port combo for the ROG XG Mobile Interface, and support for a UHS-II microSD card reader. However, it’s worth noting that the ROG Ally’s 40WHr battery with 65W charging support may not match up to the battery life of its competitors, such as the Steam Deck.
