itel is apparently gearing up to launch a brand new budget grade smartphone in the Indian market soon. The company’s upcoming device is dubbed the itel S23, but prior to any announcement, some of its key specs and launch timeline has been revealed. So let’s have a look.
itel S23 to feature 90Hz display & 5,000mAh battery pack
The new leak arrives from an exclusive report by 91Mobiles. This handset is rumored to launch sometime later this month. Unfortunately, the exact launch date for this phone is still unclear, but we can expect it to arrive in the middle of June. Apart from this, the report also revealed a number of its key specifications as well as a design render. The device will reportedly sport a 6.6 inch HD+ display that has a 90Hz refresh rate.
It will launch with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The rear will pack a 50 megapixel dual camera setup that supports 10x zoom, HDR, and more. Under the hood, a large 5,000mAh battery pack will power the device and supports just 10W charging. The device will run on itel OS 8.6 and offer side mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The design render shows a circular camera setup on a flat back as well as a white color option.
Lastly, the report also added that the itel S23 is expected to launch later this month for a price range between 8,000 and 9,000 INR. In other words, it will target the entry level segment in the region with its sub 10,000 INR price tag. Notably, this leak also arrives weeks after the brand announced the itel Smartwatch 2ES.
