LG has released the CineBeam PU700R 4K UHD projector in the US. The LG CineBeam PU700R 4K comes with a compact design and a 1.2 throw ratio. It can produce images up to 120 inches wide and has a 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness. The LG CineBeam PU700R 4K was showcased during CES 2023 earlier this year. It was subsequently launched in Korea and the EU.

The LG CineBeam PU700R projector is similar in design to the Samsung The Freestyle. It is a round device on a rotating stand that allows for various angle configurations for the beam up to 90 degrees. It has an RGB LED light source with a life cycle of about 30,000 hours. The new LG CineBeam projector supports HDR10, HDR, and HLG outputs. You can also use the keystone correction tool to get the perfect image output. The projector can also provide mood lighting when not in use with up to seven colors available.

The new LG compact projector runs on Smart webOS and provides several streaming apps like Apple TV, YouTube, and Disney+. You can use Apple AirPlay 2 or Screen Share to wirelessly screen content from your mobile device. The projector is also compatible with Apple Home and features built-in 5W mono speakers.

You can also connect external speakers to the projector via Bluetooth. The LG CineBeam PU700R projector has HDMI 2.1 ARC, USB-A, and USB-C ports for wired connections.

The LG CineBeam PU700R 4K projector weighs 3.1kg and has dimensions of 6.4 x 12.0 x 5.7 inches. The projector is priced at $1,699 and LG is offering a free LG XBOOM 360 Bluetooth speaker worth $300 for purchases before June 11.
