Sony is expected to launch a flagship TWS earphone soon. The Sony WF-1000MX5 has been spotted in leaks in the past. They are expected to arrive as the successor to the WF-1000MX4. Now, The Walkman Blog has revealed key information about the upcoming Sony WF-1000MX5. Read on to know more below. 

Sony WF-1000MX5 details leaked

As per the report, the Sony WF-1000MX5 TWS earphones are tipped to debut between June 5 to June 6 which possibly hints at this week. The upcoming TWS earphones from the Japanese brand were spotted on Amazon in comparison with other Sony earbuds. 

As per the specification sheet listed on the e-commerce site, the Sony WF-1000MX5 will weigh 39 grams with the case whereas each earbud will be 5.9 grams. This makes the case and earbud 2g and 1.4g lighter respectively compared to their predecessor. The audio device will feature an in-ear design with silicon ear tips. It will also come with touch controls and wearing detection features. 

In terms of audio, the Sony WF-1000MX5 will come with noise cancellation and hi-res wireless audio. It will also pack precise voice pickup technology and a multi-point connection. 

The listing reveals that the Sony WF-1000MX5 will be equipped with up to 24 hours of battery life with the case. A three-minute charge is claimed to offer 1 hours of usage. The TWS earphones will come with support for Qi-certified wireless charging.
