Skullcandy Rail specifications and features

The Skullcandy Rail ANC and Rail come with the same design. They feature a semi-in-ear design with a stem and semi-transparent silicon ear tips. The earbuds are claimed to offer a universally ergonomic fit. The earphones are IP55-certified dust and water-resistant.

In terms of audio, the Skullcandy Rail ANC is equipped with four microphones for active noise cancellation. The non-ANC version lacks this. Both earphones feature a clear voice smart mic for ensuring crystal clear quality on calls. There are custom and preset EQ modes for tuning audio. The audio device has a personal sound functionality that lets users take a real-time audio test to create a Personal Sound Profile for optimized audio levels.

The Skullcandy Rail TWS earphones come with a built-in Tile Finding technology that lets users find misplaced earbuds by simpling ringing them from the Tile app. The audio device features a proprietary Skull-IQ technology that enables users to give hands-free voice commands, adjust stay-aware mode, activate voice assistant, take photos, and more. The TWS earphones support Bluetooth 5.2 and can be connected to two devices simultaneously via the multipoint feature.

The Skullcandy Rail ANC is claimed to deliver 10 hours of usage with ANC off and is backed by a total of 38 hours of battery. The non-ANC version has a total battery backup of 42 hours with the earbuds lasting 8 hours. Both come with support for fast charging.

The Skullcandy Rail ANC is priced at $99.99 whereas the non-ANC version costs $79.99. The former is offered in only True Black color whereas the latter comes in True Black and Bone colors.
