The Retroid Pocket 3 Plus Metal Edition is heavier than the standard model by 50g. It weighs 285g mainly due to its metal shell. The Pocket 3 Plus was announced last November and featured a 4.7-inch display with a UNISOC Tiger T618 chipset. It packs a 4,500mAh battery and has 4GB RAM. These features were all retained in the refreshed handheld. The nature of the metal casing used for the new gaming handheld was not disclosed by the company. As per the higher weight of the Metal Edition, it has a 21% increase from the standard model. The use of a metal case provides a premium feel for the product.

Pre-orders are exclusively available on the company’s website but the expected delivery date is lacking at this time.
