Back in March, Alienware launched the AW2524H gaming monitor with a jaw-dropping 500Hz refresh rate and an $830 price tag. The brand has now launched another monitor called the AW2724DM, which strikes a good balance between price and performance. Let’s check out its specs and features.

The Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor AW2724DM boasts a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, a fast 180Hz refresh rate (DisplayPort(OC), and a swift 1ms response time. The monitor offers excellent color accuracy, covering 99% of the sRGB color space, 95% of the DCI-P3 color space, and 100% of the Rec. 709 color gamut. With a brightness of 350 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, the visuals are vibrant and vivid.
In terms of HDR capabilities, the AW2724DM supports DisplayHDR 400 True Black, enhancing the dynamic range for better contrast and depth. It also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies, ensuring smooth and tear-free gameplay.
