A new game is on the horizon and it is a new Harry Potter title. The upcoming game is called Harry Potter: Magic Awakened and now we have the first look at its gameplay thanks to its latest trailer, which even reveals its launch date. So here are all the details.
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is a new mobile fantasy game
This isn’t the first time the game has been seen as the mobile game was first released in the Chinese market. But now, the title is rolling out for the rest of the world and ahead of its launch, there is even a new trailer that highlights its gameplay and new art style. The game is set in the Harry Potter universe and begins 10 years in the future, following the events of the Battle of Hogwarts.
In the game, one can expect to see many familiar faces as well as new professors. Notably, this title also arrives after the massive success of Hogwarts Legacy, which launched for the PC and consoles. Looking at the trailer, we can see friendly NPCs like Hagrid and the gameplay also showcases classes, spells, and magical creatures as well. You can check out the trailer above. The game is set to launch globally on June 27.
But the fun doesn’t just end here as we can even see some new features like Duelling Club, Forbidden Forest visits, the Hogwarts grounds, and a dance club too. Spell casting takes place in the form of cards and gamers need to perfect these spells and win to conquer the challenges they will face. Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is a free-to-play collectible cards game that is also an MMO and was co-developed and published by Warner Bros. Games and NetEase Games as well.
