Japanese electronics giant Panasonic has unveiled its smart wardrobe HCC-R600A with a sprinkling of impressive functionalities. The new Panasonic smart wardrobe can silently disinfect, deodorize and iron clothes seamlessly in a quiet environment. The smart wardrobe is a low-noise device that does not disturb anyone asleep during its operation.

The Panasonic smart wardrobe is divided into two sub-models namely left (L) and right (R) depending on the direction of its door opening. The Panasonic smart wardrobe has undergone tests by the Japanese Food Research Center. It can reduce bacteria on clothing by up to 99%. This threshold is achieved after two hours of disinfection.

The smart wardrobe supports steam ironing of clothes while its in-built warm air dehumidification system ensures the clothes are dry after ironing. The smart wardrobe is designed to adapt to the bedroom environment and it adopts a noise-reduction design.

Panasonic HCC-R600A smart wardrobe

The noise levels of the smart wardrobe are 30dB when in disinfection and deodorization mode and 40dB in the ironing mode. This ensures that the bedroom environment is quiet, allowing for a smooth sleep. It has a simple mirror design with the operation panel only displayed with the model is in use. The child lock feature helps to prevent unauthorized use of the smart wardrobe.

Panasonic HCC-R600A smart Wardrobe Price & Availability

The Panasonic smart wardrobe HCC-R600A will be available from August 1 at a retail price of ¥330,000 (~$2,326). Panasonic is yet to provide global availability details for the new smart wardrobe.
