We recently covered a report with the box price of the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r earphones. These earbuds will be a slightly cut-down version of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, as they will likely be missing the Active noise cancellation feature. Now, tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared renders and specs of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r.
The renders reveal the black color variant of the Nord Buds 2r featuring a similar design language to the Nord Buds 2. The only visible difference between the two is the touchpad area. In addition to that, the tipster has also revealed that the earbuds will offer a total battery backup of 38 hours, will feature a low latency gaming mode, and 3 equalizer preset profiles. As for the price tag, we could expect the earbuds to debut below Rs. 2,000 as the box price is set at Rs. 2,299.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2r specs
Based on leaked information, the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r is said to come equipped with 12.4mm drivers, enhancing the audio quality for an improved listening experience. Users can also expect three equalizer profiles to customize their sound preferences. In terms of durability, the earbuds are rumored to have an IP55 rating, indicating resistance against water and dust. Notably, the Buds 2r is expected to offer an impressive playback time of 38 hours when used with the accompanying charging case.
When comparing the rumored features of the Nord Buds 2r to the existing Nord Buds 2, it appears that the Buds 2r may lack active noise cancellation, while offering similar specifications such as the 12.4mm dual dynamic titanium driver, IP55 sweat and dust resistance, and a lengthy battery life of up to 36 hours.
