We already know that the Red Magic 8S Pro was set to launch soon. But now, the company has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming flagship phone on its official Weibo account (a Chinese microblogging website)

Red Magic 8S Pro might launch in China alongside a new tablet

The Chinese smartphone maker has started sending out its Red invitation letter for the launch of its Red Magic 8S smartphone model. The letter reveals that the device will be officially unveiled on the 5th of July 2023. This is in line with our previous report that had also hinted at a July 5 launch. For those unaware, the Red Magic 8S Pro is a flagship-grade smartphone that will offer up to 40 hours of battery life and was recorded receiving an impressive score of 1.7 million on AnTuTu.

This extraordinary score was thanks to Qualcomm’s next-gen flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 SoC. Notably, the gaming smartphone will also feature a top-notch display that has a 93.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, 960Hz touch sampling rate, 120Hz refresh rate, and Full HD+ resolution. Other notable features include a large 6,000mAh battery pack that supports 80W wired fast charging, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage.

Notably, the Red Magic 8S Pro might not be the only product launching on June 5. Reportedly, the company will even unveil a new gaming tablet that will feature a Snapdragon 8+ series processor, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a tall display that offers a 2.8K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. A massive 12,000mAh battery pack might power this tablet.
