Microsoft recently hosted the Xbox Showcase where it unveiled the new Xbox Series S console that features a higher 1TB storage option. This variant of the popular gaming console is planned to launch in India as well, so here are the pricing and availability details.
Microsoft Xbox Series S 1TB model to launch in India in September
For those unaware, the Xbox Showcase event had the company make a bunch of new announcements and included the Xbox Games Showcase event as well. One of the major reveals was related to the new higher storage variant of the Xbox Series S. Now, an official company listing has revealed that the 1TB Xbox Series S will launch in India on September 1, which is in line with its global release.
Furthermore, the Xbox Series S 1TB model will be available for a price tag of 38,990 INR. Although, the pricing in the region may vary based on the retailer you buy it from. Meanwhile, the existing 512GB option is being sold for 34,990 INR. Apart from the higher storage capacity, the new Xbox Series S model will still retain the same overall specifications.
However, there are also rumors going around that the company will be raising the price of its Xbox series consoles in the region. The Xbox Game Pass saw a price hike recently as well, and the brand is shifting its focus to the cloud gaming market as well. These pricing might be updated in the region some time in August 2023.
