Last week, the entire spec sheet as well as the design of the Oppo A78 4G smartphone was revealed through leaked promo material. Now, tipster Paras Guglani has revealed the global launch date of the device.
According to Guglani, the Oppo A78 4G will be launched in the global market on July 7. The device will launch in both Misty Black and Aqua Green colors. Let’s take a look at the already leaked specs and features of the smartphone.
Oppo A78 4G specs
The upcoming Oppo A78 4G is expected to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a potential 90Hz refresh rate. The device is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB. It is also expected to support 8GB of virtual RAM.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Oppo A78 4G may feature a dual-camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP main camera sensor and a 2MP bokeh lens. Various camera modes such as Oppo’s 108MP ultra-clear image mode, dual-view video mode, and Bokeh Flare portrait mode are anticipated. For selfies, there might be an 8MP front camera sensor.
The device is rumored to have a 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support. According to speculations, it could reach up to 76% battery capacity in just 30 minutes of charging. Other expected features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, and Oppo’s ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
